Introduction

Havstua offers five simple guest rooms in a historic sea house at the edge of the fishing village of Kamøyvær.

The rooms are quiet and comfortable, designed for slow mornings, deep sleep and long days spent outdoors in the northern weather. Throughout the house you will find traces of earlier generations, driftwood details, old photographs and the atmosphere of a place that has evolved slowly over time.

Guests share access to the old restaurant dining room, common living spaces and views of the harbour and surrounding mountains.

Days here are shaped less by schedules and more by weather, light and the rhythm of the village.

Some guests spend hours outdoors hiking, fishing or exploring the coastline. Others stay inside with books, coffee and long conversations around the shared table. Evenings often stretch late beneath the midnight sun before everyone slowly disappears off to bed with the sound of waves beneath the house.
