Breakfast in the old restaurant

Every morning between 08:00 and 10:00, the old restaurant opens its doors to overnight guests.


Rather than offering a traditional hotel breakfast, we invite guests to bring their own food and enjoy a relaxed start to the day.

Fresh coffee, tableware and a welcoming dining room overlooking the harbour are always included.

There is no buffet and no rush.

Some guests quietly prepare breakfast before continuing their journey. Others linger over a second cup of coffee, watching fishing boats leave the harbour while the rest of the house slowly wakes up.

It's a simple ritual — and one of our favourite parts of the day.

Breakfast at Havstua is intentionally simple.

There is no restaurant service, but we hope the dining room feels like a place where everyone can begin the day at their own pace.
