Wood-fired warmth, cold water and northern weather.

Private wood-fired sauna

Available for guests and visitors

Cold water access

Introduction

Right by the sea, beneath the mountains and changing Arctic weather, Havstua’s wood-fired sauna offers a quiet place to warm up, slow down and breathe deeply.

Guests can book private sauna sessions throughout the day and evening, with direct access to the harbour for cold water dips between rounds of heat.

Some come after long mountain walks. Others arrive simply to sit quietly, listen to the sea and watch the weather move across the fjord.
The sauna is best enjoyed slowly — with time for conversation, tea, cold water swims and lingering afterwards on the dock.
